I had a laugh at my own expense today when I noticed that in yesterday’s CCC I wrote “We are stuck in a boring consolidation phase.”

I mean, what is boring about BTC consolidating in six figures? I am so dumb sometimes.

Having poked fun at myself it is only right that I now poke fun at the techies, those who inhabit an imaginary world devoid of reality, a (possibly) apt description which an ex-girlfriend or two might have directed my way in the past.

Moving on, check this out:

“… bullish Bat pattern’s reversal zone ….”

Seriously?

We know it means nothing because this techie goes on to say “… until a breakout or breakdown confirms direction.”

What that means is that if the price has subsequently gone up, it has gone up, but if it has subsequently gone down, it has gone down. Technical Analysis is no more than a flawed reflection on the past. It tells you nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, about the future.

I feel so sad about the money the leveraged children continue to lose because of these snake oil salesmen.

So, there I was yesterday morning, deciding the next steps of rotating out of underperforming miners into Coinbase Global, Inc. (not financial advice, that’s just the way I roll at times), deciding what to sell, at what price, and what my entry price will be, and in what size, and all that malarkey.

I then open my online brokerage app to execute my cunning masterplan, and guess what? It is Saturday morning, and I cannot trade.

How ridiculous is that?

I don’t mean the bit about me not knowing which day of the week it is (do you?) but the fact one cannot trade the TradFi way 24/7/365. Tokenisation – enabled only by cryptos – fixes this obstacle to improving productivity, making everyone wealthier as a result.
