On Monday this week it looked like shorts were getting over their skis and by Tuesday we had a nice little £2k or so rally back about $40k as a bunch of them got liquidated.

I am pleased to see the same situation starting to develop again overnight as the risk of another short squeeze is building once more.

I always feel a little sad and deflated if the CCC misses just one day, like yesterday.

Unfortunately despite the best efforts of our dedicated IT team, our brand new and very first overseas office for Curious Cryptos Ltd. is in such a remote spot that sometimes the internet thingamajig just doesn’t work.

Curious Cryptos’ Commentary – IOTA staking update

The CCC has long been an investor and supporter in IOTA (NOT investment advice – purely for discussion purposes).

My interest in this project has been documented on many occasions. You could do worse than refer to previously published CCCs on 3rd January 2022, 19th December 2021, 11th October 2021, and 6th September 2021 for more details. All back copies are available on request, but they are also slowly being populated at https://www.curiouscryptos.com/blog.

But as a very quick reminder, IOTA is a dramatically fast payments and data processer with ZERO fees, whose speed and security INCREASES as the number of transactions goes up. The holy grail of micropayments – which will have hundreds of thousands or more of applications not least in controlling the autonomous, smart cars of the future - is in sight with IOTA.

For holders of IOTA, the opportunity to stake and earn SMR and ASMB rewards was highlighted last October by the CCC.

These projects are still in their infancy and may never amount to much. But if you are a believer in the IOTA foundation, then it is not such a stretch to believe in these two new associated projects.

Staking IOTA for both coins ended earlier this year. There is now a second opportunity from today to earn more ASMB.
