I see a lot of excitement from the sceptics when we breached $80k to the downside yesterday and then breached $82k to the upside today. Guys, calm down! That’s less than a 5% move intraday. That ain’t nothing to what we have seen with BTC in the past. Keep your focus on the long-term and everything will be all right.

The latest mark-up for the CLARITY Act will be voted on today.
In a blocking manoeuvre, Senator Elizabeth Warren – in keeping with the ethos of her anti-freedom and anti-liberty army whose numbers have been rapidly dwindling – has tabled over 40 amendments.
Polymarket shows a probability of 68% that the bill will be signed into law in 2026. That is a clear example of a market priced incorrectly, driven by crypto users’ (almost the only ones using Polymarket) desire for it to pass.
The real odds are in the low single digits, but a bit like the fact I will never bet against Watford F.C., I cannot bring myself to bet against a potentially transformative development for cryptos.

Circle, the publicly listed company behind USDC, the largest US regulatory approved stablecoin, (always my first choice of stablecoin), has announced the launch of Circle Agent Stack:
A quick reminder for those that haven’t been paying enough attention:
Truly autonomous agentic A.I. can only run on stablecoin payment rails that allow for payments down to tiny fractions of a cent. Fiat does not cut the mustard.
USDC gas fees are almost zero on some chains.
Agentic A.I. will be the biggest user of blockchain technology.

As previously reported, Charles Schwab has been planning on rolling out spot BTC and ETH trading to its retail clients (https://www.curiouscryptos.com/post/5th-april-2026-james-seyffart-charles-schwab). That functionality is now live:
With a mighty $12 TRILLION AUM, accompanied by a recommendation of a 2%-7% allocation, we might expect to see inflows of $500bn or so, mostly into BTC. That’s an investment flow we are all very nicely positioned for.
