And some on-chain metrics for the crypto enthusiasts.

It was as long ago as the 9th August 2021 since the CCC last reported a BTC price of less than $45k.
In that time, we have once very briefly got to $48k. This is very stable, and very promising price action.
Curious Cryptos’ Commentary – I know I promised you a day off from the CCC
But I just couldn’t help myself. I will keep it short and sweet though.
Occasional Series – Watford F.C.
After the performance on Saturday, it was only a matter of time before this subject came up.
Watford are the original Family Club.
We did diversity before it was a “thing”, and most certainly before any wokeists parents even thought about getting it on.
Being gay or having an ethnic background has never been an impediment to being part of the Watford family, core beliefs of ours of which we are supremely proud.
It is nice that the Times had the grace to comment on this just yesterday:
“Continental drift
Watford’s starting XI featured six players who were born in Africa or play for an African nation — and another with African parents. Emmanuel Dennis, Peter Etebo and William Troost-Ekong play for Nigeria, Ismaïla Sarr is a Senegal international and Adam Masina plays for Morocco. Christian Kabasele has appeared for Belgium but was born in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo, while Ken Sema was born in Sweden to Congolese parents.”
For anyone who desires a real football club community, not one superficially created by some billionaire’s wealth, then you cannot go wrong by joining me (**) next to the drummer in the loudest, raucous, most vociferous of terraces anywhere in the UK – the Rookery at Vicarage Road.
Trust me, you will love it.
Curious Cryptos’ Commentary – Some chain metrics
A few reported metrics for you to chew over: - Total BTC owned by long term holders has reached an all-time high of 82.68%;
- Glassnode’s analysts claim that when short-term holders are at 20% or less that drives a major supply squeeze;
- A few days ago, the dominance of BTC transactions of more than $1mm increased from 30% to 70%, a rise that cannot be ascribed to retail investors;
- Total BTC held by addresses of 100-100,000 BTC has increased to an all-time high;
- Whale Alert claims that tens of thousands of BTC are being moved daily out of known exchange wallets and into long-term storage;
- Total exchange holdings of BTC are at 2.44mm, a three-month low.
Now some of these metrics, if not all of them, are very closely interlinked. But they all point in the same direction for the price trajectory of BTC.

(**) I have two season tickets and - frankly speaking - it is often hard to find company to go and see Watford play. Buy me a beer and we will call it quits. Can’t say fairer than that for a Premiership game of football.
