Market Wrap - Technical analysis (TA) from our resident techie Larry

All very quiet as trading desks start to get their books in order for the Christmas lull. Unfavoured positions will be sold off cheaply in the next fortnight, whilst some assets are going to become rather more expensive than they deserve to be.

There are always money-making opportunities if you know where to look.

Occasional Series – Education in the UK

Nearly 50% of millennials believe Winston Churchill was PM during World War One.

20% of millennials believe that World War One was a war between England and France.

10% of millennials believe that the PM from 1914-1918 was … Margaret Thatcher.

5% of millennials believe that the bloodiest battle of World War One was the “Battle of Helm’s Deep”, which was undoubtedly a vicious and bloody encounter between the forces of Saruman and Rohan.

Just for clarity, that battle was a fictional one portrayed in Lord of the Rings, a narrative which some people may be surprised to hear is not actually a historically accurate portrayal of mankind’s (*) history.

Curious Cryptos’ Commentary – I am too depressed by today’s Occasional Series

To try any attempt at education and information about cryptos. Sorry.

(*) Anyone who thinks I should use the phrase “non-gender specific kind’s history” can simply ask to be taken off this distribution channel. I really do not want anyone to feel triggered.

If you do feel triggered, then trust me, this is not a micro-aggression, it is called “free speech”.

“Free speech” is a quaint concept that has ushered in millennia of progress to the benefit of the less rich and powerful. You might want to become familiar with it one day.
