tl;dr
Forever contrarian, the CCC is now on X. US politics is again to the fore. Are the naysayers having a rethink?

Market Wrap
A breach of $90k to the upside yesterday for the first time ever on spot markets is an event to celebrate.
But I do have a word of caution. We have had decent price action for three weeks now. As a result, there is a huge psychological barrier just ahead of us, and undoubtedly a wall of sell-side liquidity between $97k and $99k.
Do not be disappointed if we see a month or so of consolidation between the low 80s and the low 90s. Keep your focus on the long-term prize. In the short-term, Gensler’s official termination is slated for June 5th 2025. He will be long gone before then. Expect a pump the day that happens.

If you haven’t yet got around to boycotting X, the CCC is up and running. If you could follow, and occasionally like, well, you know the score. But only if you value the work done by everyone on the CC team.

Curious Cryptos’ Commentary – Two steps forward, one step back
After a concerted and successful campaign to unseat Senator Sherrod Brown who previously chaired the Senate Banking Committee in an entirely antagonistic, damaging, and ultimately fruitless approach to cryptos, we were all cheered with the likely promotion of Senator Tim Scott to the now-vacant chair. Tim is ranked by the Stand with Crypto Alliance as “strongly” supporting crypto, for he is a true believer in personal liberty and freedom. In his new role, we can expect strong and clear regulation that will help to unleash the powerful force of crypto innovation to change the world for the better.
Sadly, however, Eleanor Terrett has some disturbing news for us:
“NEW: @SenWarren is now all but guaranteed to be the Ranking Member on the Senate Banking Committee next year as @SenSherrodBrown exits and @MarkWarner confirms he plans to stay on the Senate Intel Committee.”
Despite Warren’s anti-freedom and anti-liberty army rapidly diminishing in numbers and influence, she will continue to be obstructive wherever she can, making Tim’s mission to bring peace and prosperity to the world harder than it would otherwise be.
What a shame.
Curious Cryptos’ Commentary – The regret of the naysayers
Even at today’s prices, it’s not too late for those with an investor mindset, and not be a speculator. Remember, institutional interest is only increasing by the day, and they know far more than we ever can.

A screeching U-turn by Schiff would be both amusing and highly telling. Go on Schiff, you can do it.
