3.11: Exchanges We Believe to Be Scams

This list is far from exhaustive and will be updated as necessary. The only true test of a scam site is whether you can withdraw funds.

bitebtc.com — After depositing and exchanging funds, attempting to withdraw resulted in an immediate account suspension, followed by an email claiming the exchange had been bought by a bank in the Seychelles (which does not exist) and requiring further personal details.

exrates.me — After depositing and building a balance above the minimum withdrawal, it was simply impossible to withdraw funds.

If you encounter any exchange that prevents withdrawal of your funds for any reason, treat it as a scam.
